Vocabulary Story #3

    A New Joy
Serena got dressed, gobbled down her breakfast, and dashed outside. She was so excited about buying new things for the kitten she was going to buy. First she headed to the supermarket to get some cat food. Then she went to the mall to get some dainty clothes for the kitten.
Soon Serena was done with all her shopping and was so excited to buy the kitten. The next day Serena went to the pet store and was stupified  to hear that there were no more kittens and it would be a long time for them to get more. Serena was irascible and furious!
When she got home she was surprised to see a small adorable kitten on her living room couch. "SURPRISE!" shouted her mom, dad and little brother.
"Where did you get such an ambrosial, precious little kitten from?" Serena asked.
"We got it from the pet store and told them to tell you all the kittens were gone so that we could surprise you," Serena's mom said.
" I am going to name you Dainty because you are dainty, cute and precious!" Serena smiled at the kitten.
