Direct and Indirect Objects Grammar Review #2

 direct object: "is a noun or pronoun that receives the action of a verb."

 indirect object: "comes between the action verb and the direct object and answers the question "To whom?" or "For whom?"

Grammar Review #1

All sentences contain a subject and a predicate. The subject is what the sentence is about and the predicate is what the subject is doing. In the example, the predicate italicized while the subject is in bold.

Fatima was riding on the rollercoaster.
